Chardham Yatra 2026 registration is mandatory and has started online as of early March. It ensures crowd management and safety during the pilgrimage season from April to November.

Online Registration

Visit the official portal at https://registrationandtouristcare.uk.gov.in/. Enter your mobile number for OTP, fill personal details (name, age, ID proof like Aadhaar), select travel dates and temples, add co-pilgrims, and submit to get a Yatra permit with QR code. Use the Tourist Care Uttarakhand app for mobile registration.

Offline Registration

Visit authorized centers in Haridwar, Rishikesh, Sonprayag, Barkot, or other Uttarakhand spots near the yatra route. Fill a physical form with ID proof and photo; receive an SMS confirmation or Yatra card on-site. Biometric options are available at select centers for added verification.
